As a case manager who frequents a number of ALFs, this particular one is a real gem. It'll become clear why, when you meet the administrator, Donya Cloud & her hand picked staff.
It's immaculately clean, and you will feel like family once you get to know the Staff.
My testimony for this facility was so strong, I placed one of my own loved ones there as a resident. He loves it there & has been welcomed by the staff & all the residents like family.
It's easy to see why they are generally at full capacity.

I am very pleased with the experience of having to place my mother for help with her elder care. It can be difficult at times to reach the administrator, Donya, but her assistant, April picks up the difference. They keep me informed of her needs which is essential since Mother no longer has family nearby.

My son was at this facility, He was a bit difficult when he first got there he went from being a member of Society to being paralyzed on the left side of his body due to a mechanical aortic valve replacement that he had July 18, from the director, Donia to the coordinator Madison and Sara, one of the nurses and all the other staff that worked with him they did an amazing job. I can’t even thank them enough for everything that they did for my son again thank you ladies for everything that you have done for him.

My dad is a resident at Best Care and they truly are the best!! The nurses and staff really care about the residents and that matters so much!! They are always doing activities. My dad was even taken out to a nice steak dinner. I live in Delaware and the nurses Facetime me every week so I can talk to my dad!! April is absolutely AMAZING!! I really don't know what I would do without her!!! She is definitely one of a kind!! My brother definitely found a good place for our dad to stay!! He's truly happy being at Best Care!!!

Best Care Senior Living at Winter Haven is a god send for my family. My father was diagnosed with dementia and has been living here for nearly a year. I’m currently serving on active duty in the United States Marine Corps and have had almost no time to see him.

With all that being prefaced, the staff at Best Care has made this transition in our families life so much easier to go through. They are family oriented, friendly beyond measure, and dedicated to giving genuine care to the residents at the facility as well as their families.

The supervisor Donja runs this place with a warm and loving heart. Her goal of family oriented living makes this hard transition in life easier on everyone who lives here. Not only Donja but her staff as well will go out of their way to make sure everyone receives genuine care. A key point that comes to mind is when we showed up to care for my father during his time with Hospice. The staff surprised us with a room of our own and a welcome cart full of amenities so we didn’t have to go without. The amount of thought that went into something unexpected was amazing and it extends to everything they do. Best care is always there for our family and they have helped me be with my father during such a hard time.

I could write a whole 1,000 word essay on all the amazing things that happen here, but just writing about it doesn’t do it justice. You will have to see it for yourself and realize that there is such an outstanding facility for the people of Winter Haven here.

I met Lesley the Activities Director at Best Care when she reached out to the community asking for books to expand the facilities library. Since then I have tried to help out whenever possible. The most recent idea Lesley had for the residents was Trunk or Treat...The residents seemed to really enjoy it. She truly only wants the best for her residents.
