I was first introduced to Stacey 14 years ago when I was at my lowest point of life with suddenly becoming the sole caregiver for my mother with Alzheimer’s after my dad passed away. I had no where to turn for help but when I met Stacey, without hesitation, she had a plan of action and assisted me in placing my mom. She had a way of making a devastating decision for me seem like it was my mom’s decision and it was beautiful. I still cried but Stacey immediately put my mind at ease and she has been a part of our lives ever since. My mom lived an additional 14 years when I was convinced she was near death in my care. Stacey found an aging in place facility that treated my mom and me like family. Unfortunately, my mom passed away on January 21, 2024, but the relationship with the facility, Stacey and myself remains intact. I would recommend her services without hesitation.

When our family was in need of an expert in elder care and placement we turned to Stacey Hamilton Grant at Affordable Senior Placement of South Florida. Stacey came very highly recommended by a well-respected healthcare professional we know in South Florida. Our family’s experience in hiring Stacey with all her resources has been extraordinary. Stacey is attuned and attentive to Mom on matters big and small; she hears the whispered words that family members seem to miss or forget. Stacey was instrumental in coordinating care for my mother after she was referred by my mother's close friend 3 years ago. Though it was a difficult situation as my mother's dementia had been progressing, and also it was during the height of Covid, Stacey knew the right questions to ask, situations to assess and is an excellent listener. She was able to quickly recommend and set-up in-home care to increase my mother's safety and provide respite for my step-dad in Florida, while maintaining frequent communication with me (I live in CT). Stacey recommended two progressive moves, and took care of all the details required to move from a senior condo development, to assisted living, first in Florida and then the move to CT. She escorted my mom safely and efficiently from FL to CT last year, after recommending excellent memory units in assisted living communities, coordinating the application and acceptance, to provide as seamless a transition as was possible. I am an occupational therapist with 10 years experience and though I initially thought I would be able to assist with all of the coordination for my mother, and then also for my step-dad when he was ill and declining too, I was wrong. Even if I did it full time, I am not a Geriatric Care manager and would not have had the time, energy or knowledge to pull it all together. Also, as this is an emotional journey, having a professional like Stacey to take over has been a godsend. Stacey continues to weave her magic with the best of intentions, kindness, respect and love for the ones who she takes under her wings. My family and I are lucky we found her and I highly recommend working with her.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Stacey. We were incredibly anxious about transitioning our mother from her home and away from our father and into a memory care facility. We just didn't think we would ever be able to get there without much angst and animosity. Stacey convinced us that she could get there with ease and boy did she ever! Stacey was patient, kind and unbelievably creative with her approach. The transition went perfectly and without one once of animosity. Stacey has been our eyes and ears communicating with the facility and will continue to help us through these first few transition months. She also went above and beyond to connect us with a new psychiatrist who typically takes months to get into see. She had us connected within a week.
