As a senior living alone and facing the recent onset of physical disabilities, I sought assistance to maintain my independence and remain in my own home. My solution was to receive help for a few hours a day, a couple of times a week, to manage tasks like housekeeping, laundry, errands, cooking, and meal preparation, along with various other tasks around the home.

Senior Helpers provided the essential support I needed. They did an excellent job matching me with Steve, a caregiver whose warm and adaptable personality complements mine perfectly. His competence, compassion, and genuine desire to promptly meet my needs have bridged the gap in tasks I can no longer manage on my own. Beyond assisting with household duties, Steve also provides transportation to doctor’s appointments and other outings, creating a dynamic that feels much like gaining a new good friend.

While this change in lifestyle and increased dependency has been an adjustment for me, Senior Helpers has successfully fulfilled my needs and made this transition as smooth as possible.
