The facility is clean and has been updated since my highschool days. There are a couple of pickleball courts on a full size basketball court. The workout center looked clean and had quite a few machines. I'm not sure on fees or membership but it was just 2 bucks to get in and play.

Really like the "Cardio-Drum" class. Like the music we use during the exercises. Loretta is a very friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging instructor !

I enjoyed my time there very much. After an hour of exercise it was time to play kings in the corner with some great friends. Sat in with the Crochet Angels, a very friendly group of ladies full of great ideas and lots of help. Then I enjoyed a nice lunch ( chef salad) full of bite size pieces of veggies with club crackers and on to play some card bingo. A lot of talking, laughing and just enjoying life with people that are there to do the same.

It was very nice. My husband is a member there & he invited me for lunch & to meet some of his pool friends, (which a couple of them I knew & worked with at Reno County Yard from way back). Was very nice!!

Full disclosure: I have only visited the location once and it was not during an event being held there, only to pick someone up. The place was in good condition, nothing seemed to be in disrepair and it was very clean in and around the place. The parking was what I'd consider "barely enough" inside the lot for the size of the venue but I suppose you could park along the street nearby too if needed.

Elmdale offers a nice selection of activities for seniors. From Yoga, card making, pickleball, table tennis, lunches, dulcimer practice, and a library, there is always something to do. They offer trips, special music events, and one of my favorites, the Old Time Pickers and Fiddlers.

Elmdale Community Center hosts alot of different activities. Its a great place for finding friends and trying something new. Check the Hutchinson Recreation Center for times and events.
