Nov 24: I wanted to say again how great Sage Hill is. I just spent a week staying with my Mom and the care she receives continues to be amazing - above and beyond! Thanks especially to Marlo. And the food is excellent.

Jan 24: I want to thank everyone at Sage Hill for the excellent care they have given my parents in the year and a half they have lived here. I can't remember everyone's name but special thanks to Sam, Paula, Connie and Saeeda for their support. This is such a warm community. My father passed away recently and everyone here was so kind. They allowed us to have the funeral service in the chapel and it was so nice for my Mom to be among her friends here. I recommend Sage Hill to all those families trying to find the best place for their loved ones during their senior years. By the way, the food is amazing! I always like to have an excuse to eat with my Mom.

Our mom Helen, moved into Sage Hill in August, and the difference from the residence she lived in prior, cannot be more different. Sage Hill is a gift for your aging parents.
Starting with Samantha the Executive Director. She is kind,
gracious, professional, and compassionate.
Samantha clearly leads by example, and this same positive energy is demonstrate by every team member there, and that's evident by the warm welcome you are greeted with.
From residents and staff alike, each time you visit, and more importantly, as you say your good-byes, you are confident your loved one is well cared for.
The feeling of safety, security, and medical attention provided for our mom, and her excitement living in her new home, is the contentment we hoped for her, since our dad passed.
We finally found it!

The Sage Hill Retirement Residence is a wonderful place to be and a staple in our community. I first met the staff in 2017 shortly after open and we quickly formed a partnership as a community association and community hub and now a close friendship. Over the years we have hosted Halloween events, swimming lessons, donation drives, fundraisers and even first air courses In their building. The staff are wonderful, the building is clean, quiet and bright and something is always going on within its walls. Everyone is friendly (staff and residents) and smile exchanges are endless.

My sister and I moved our mom to Calgary from Winnipeg, where she had lived in her own little home until 90. She needed to be close to family, and being very independent, was able to be accommodated in one of Sage Hill's Independent Living suites. As time progressed, and she needed more assistance, it was provided with care and dignity. We cannot say enough about the kindness and friendliness of the staff....everyone from the receptionist to the handyman, the bus driver who drove the "scenic tours", the dining room staff who remembered her favourites, but especially Samantha, the director, and her most excellent staff. This is a welcoming and caring home for our loved ones....with excellent attention to safety and health. This was a stressful year and a half, and the measures they put in place early on gave us all peace of mind. We simply could not have had our mom in a better place. Thank you to everyone there.

Our mother lived at Sage Hill for one year. As with each resident we’re sure, our mother had her quirks and challenges. However, Sage Hill staff was friendly, generous and responsive in their attentiveness of her, and genuinely caring for her. Our family had to find an assisted seniors residence very quickly this past April. Our dad was being released from Hospital and we were told he would not be returning to his own condo or able to drive again. We had about 2 weeks to find quality care and a place that would feel like home to him. We knew this would be a big adjustment for him. From the moment we contacted Wendy at Sage Hill, we knew that this was the place for him. Wendy and the entire team at Sage Hill have been nothing less than amazing in helping us transition our dad to his new home.

They are some of the kindest, most compassionate people we have met when it comes to taking care of our loved ones. Our mother was in a number of different senior care homes until she passed away this past Christmas and although they were good, it doesn't compare to Sage Hill. The residents at Sage Hill are an extension of the staff's own family. The love, patience, compassion, kindness and medical care is exactly what he needed. We know and trust that every single person involved in his care team are giving him the best care they can. As he needs assistance with certain tasks, they are always there to ensure he receives it in a timely matter and to fit within his daily schedule.

Sage Hill Seniors Residence is a fairly new, beautiful building with wonderful amenities, a variety of activities, freshly prepared food at every meal and bright, clean rooms. We chose a 1 bedroom apartment for our dad with a small kitchenette to make himself snacks, along with a private little patio off his living room, seperate large bedroom bathroom. Its the perfect amount of space for him. The entire building is modern, warm, beautifully decorated and bright with lots of large windows everywhere. I've said to my own kids, I'd be very happy there in my senior years, keep it mind!.

We look forward to working with the team at Sage Hill as we all help my dad get settled in, get involved in activities and meet new friends!

We have family in Sage Hill Retirement Residence and have been very happy. The staff are great, the food is great, lots of activities to choose from, a pool, theatre, library, computers, exercise equipment, bus for appointments and drives and special celebrations for all the holidays. There also is health care for whatever level is needed. A great place.
