Andrea Vigil is the absolute best. She emailed, called and returned text after hours and on the weekends when I was going through the very stressful decision of relocating my mother. During the decision-making process, my mother passed away. Andrea was caring and continued to reach out to see if she could assist, even though she was no longer getting paid for a service she provided and provide well. If you have to go through this extremely hard process with your parents or loved ones, Andrea is the epitome of an exceptional human being!

After conducting an exhaustive, frustrating search for a memory care facility for my brother for nearly 2 years, I contacted Senior. One at the suggestion of the Alzheimer's Association of Albuquerque and the NM State Ombudsman Office ombudsman supervisor. Andrea Vigil was my rep throughout the 5-week, intensive, deadline-driven process, and NEVER GAVE UP despite the hurdles she encountered to help me and my brother. Andrea has been pleasant; patient; considerate, and steadfast in achieving the goal within the deadline; maintained nearly unending communication with me daily (even on weekends!); knowledgable about the entire process from start to finish, as well as knew about facilities that I had never heard of or known existed; coordinated and successfully obtained hospice care through a top-notch hospice group and coordinated it all through the new residence facility where my brother lives. I, with absolutely no reservations, highly recommend Andrea Vigil with no reservations as a highly capable individual to assist you in finding placement in a facility that meets or exceeds all of your requirements.

Title: Exceptional Support During a Challenging Transition

I had the privilege of working with the outstanding team at Senior One during the transition of my stepfather from skilled nursing to assisted living. In particular, Andrea Vigil’s expertise and dedication were truly exceptional. Her knowledge and guidance alleviated my anxiety throughout the process.

From the very beginning, the team at Senior One provided invaluable support, offering as many phone calls and text messages as needed to ensure a smooth transition. They expertly navigated the complexities of Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits, and facility placements, making sure every detail was taken care of.

Andrea's meticulous planning included setting up facility tours, coordinating with contractors, and keeping me informed every step of the way. Thanks to her and the team's efforts, what could have been an overwhelming experience turned into a manageable and less anxious process.

I cannot express enough gratitude to the team at Senior One, especially Andrea, for their unwavering support and professionalism. Their dedication truly made a difference during a challenging time.

I was so lucky to meet Cindy, a social worker at Senior One. She helped me better understand the options available to my mom. Before meeting Cindy, we had been struggling to find my mom adequate help. Since Cindy knows so much about senior care issues, she was able to help clarify our priorities, describe options available, advise us on things to avoid, and provide recommendations that helped Mom get the best care. Cindy is the best of all the medical care people we have seen; she is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and wise. I felt so much better after our discussion, and I was able to take steps to help better navigate my mom's care. I'm forever thankful to her and Senior One for their compassion and knowledge. I highly recommend them.

Evan and Cindy helped get my father away from a less than stellar situation at his former assisted living facility and into a much better place where he is happy and has a proper quality of life. Cindy has taken every call of mine, walked me through the entire process of helping me get my father's Income Diversion Trust set up with Medicaid, and has been more of a therapist to me in this process than anything else probably, just being there to assure me that what I'm doing is correct and that things will work themselves out with the lengthy and stressful process.

I cannot thank them enough for what they've done to help me out when, prior to, there was a complete lack of information and guidance from anyone I've encountered this past year while handling my father's care, as these responsibilities were dropped upon myself out of the blue.

Awesome!
Cindy Brown is not only extremely knowledgable about everything related to assisted living and skilled nursing, she has first-hand experience with the facilities and staff and knows the qualities and qualifications for each one. In addition, she is sweet and kind and compassionate. I am grateful for the assistance she provided, I could not have done it with out her. Thank you so much!

False advertising! This advertises itself as an "Assisted living facility in Albuquerque" BUT IT ISN'T. It is just another one of those referral services, looking to insert itself between people who need care and the places that might help them. This is NOT a place that cares for seniors and disabled people. It is a business that makes money by re-routing your Google search away from facilities and to them. It is REALLY hard to find an advertisement on Google that is ACTUALLY an assisted living place or an independent living place. Maybe these referral services pay money to Google? I don't know. If you like to do your own research and check places out yourself, you do NOT want one of these agencies hanging on you. The false advertising in this category online is enormous. It is annoying.
