My mother loves this Center. Sadly, the city forced the seniors from the center on 17th Ave: Not shut down, just pushed them out causing her to frequent this location. Fortunately, she loves it.
Hot licks, pottery, arts and crafts, Social room, sewing machines, hot food. They offer a lot.

Welcoming community center catering to individuals 50+ only. Memberships are free to those individuals receiving government assistance, medical assistance, and or enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. One level structure offering a sleuth of activities and a few services such card games, a workout room, billiards to name a few. Also, a few outings to events locally and or in other cities within the state for a small fee. The Gillie Community Center is for active adults looking to interact with alike individuals and or just to be involved in the community. Nice and friendly staff. Parking lot walking distance from the facility. Fun and friendly members.

I'm thrilled to share my outstanding experience at this senior community center! The staff and volunteers are incredibly friendly, making everyone feel welcome.
First I was greeted at the reception area, with one of the volunteers, she took me on a tour and àhe was very knowledgeable. Also there was no charge to join, most of the classes were free.
*Highlights:*
- Travel group with exciting day trips
- Ample parking, including designated handicap spots and 90-minute parking for non-handicap visitors
- Most classes are free or covered by SilverSneakers
- Diverse range of classes to suit various interests
- Immaculately clean restrooms
- Delicious lunch meals served daily
- On-site nurse for added peace of mind
The center's commitment to accessibility, community, and wellness is truly impressive. I highly recommend it to seniors seeking socialization, learning, and fun activities.

Went to Gillie Center to have taxes prepared - a service they offer each year. Place is always busy. There was a fellow teaching square dancing in one section of the larger room. Always have quilts made by various seniors hanging on the walls. Truly is a place for active seniors

This place is a great place for someone to learn different crafts. I come up on Thursday to see the quilting class and see what they have done. I can say that the ladies here have a good time and are good at there hobby. So stop by on Thursday and say hello and tell them that Ty sent you.

Love it! I participate in silver sneakers program and play cards once a week. They also play Bingo twice a month as well as other activities. Gives you something to do.

It's nice quiet n lots of things to do.. For the most part they do your taxes for Free, there's no membership costs..
