My mother has been paying membership fee of $70 dollars per month for 7 deaths of members each month for the past 5 years and fixed amount membership fee of $50 dollars for the prior 25 years with the understanding that her designated beneficiary will receive $10,000.00 upon her death. My mother passed away 2 weeks ago and after the funeral, one of our family members, who is a designated beneficiary, only received $5684.00 after being told that there are only 696 present members and that my mother hasn't paid membership fee since the beginning of year 2016. First of all, it is highly unbelievable that 7 deaths occur each month for the past so many years when present total membership count is only 696. And as for their claim of my mother's unpaid membership fee since the beginning of year 2016, we have every copies of her bank account checks which were cashed by Keum ran Senior Association that shows my mother hasn't missed any membership payments up until a month prior to her passing, which is the August of year 2018. We are currently contemplating a legal action and contacting TV station to have this organization investigated.
