My uncle has received amazing care from everyone at Belmont Village Encino - it feels like a high end hotel!. The dining room staff always treats him like a VIP customer, his Circle of Friends program has improved his memory recall, and he's become happier and more sociable in that group. He loves the outings, the daily routine, the activities and the incredible "pals" who tend to his schedule and needs all day long. I LOVE going there to visit him, and he is always smiling when I see him! THANK YOU to the staff!!!

We just wanted to thank the staff at Belmont Village Encino for all they did during our Mother’s
3 year stay. We especially want to give a special thank you to Ellen, Ana and Miguel!
Ellen gave her all to help our Mom through some difficult health issues. She was very observant, kind and communicative to her and the family.
And Ana with her lightness and laughter kept our Mom smiling! She also was very attentive , sweet and really cared about her.
Miguel in the dining room was so caring and fun and always got my Mom to eat! He was really always there with warmth and a smile for her!

We have been very happy at Belmont Encino. My father has been there a number of years and considers this his home. He is treated well, listen to and valued. This is so important... My father is very social and is always involved in the events at Belmont. He has been very lucky to find this place and although there are ups and downs and sometimes issues that creep up, most of the time they are minimal and taken care of very quickly. The staff is very much a family and we’ve been very lucky to find a place where my father has been very happy. We would recommend this to any senior that wants to utilize independent living as my dad has, and the only issue is he’ll never want to leave there — Which is not really an issue!

My husband has been a resident at Belmont Village, Memory Care, Encino , for oner year. He is entirely helpless and cannot speak. My children and I visit him almost every day to check on him. We have been so impressed with the care and attention that he receives. Most every person on the staff is kind and attentive and tries to anticipate and fulfill his needs. When we enter the lobby and the memory care unit it always smells clean and without any medicinal odor. When we pass the dining room for independent living, it is bright and cheerful and beautifully appointed. The food that my husband receives in his unit's dining room is always tasty and nicely served.Because I do come often to feed him I see the food and it looks delicious and smells good.He definitely enjoys his meals. The nursing staff will answer any questions that we might have about his medications and health. Another things that is so nice about this memory care unit is the outdoor back patio which allows us to wheel him outside for a visit. It is large and has nice patio tables to visit at, and perhaps share a treat with him.
The staff is wonderful but only as strong as their leader. Ralph Balbin, the Executive Director has brought forth and instilled a very highly expected standard of performance by his staff. His excellence has made an even more positive experience for the residents. We appreciate all of the "Pals" and the care that they give my husband.

Rooms are filthy, management doesn’t care about residents and only care about the money despite caregivers voicing their concerns about safety. Employees get injured and management and other higher ups turn a blind eye. Do not home your family or loved ones here.

My Mother lived at Belmont Village Encino from March 2020 until last week when she passed away. Belmont cared for my Mom during the pandemic under the most difficult circumstances. The care she received, especially in the last three months of her life, when she was bedridden, was the definition of loving care. The care givers Rosario, Simon, Erica and others were beyond kind and compassionate. The nurses and med techs, Wendy and Rosa, checked with me frequently with any changes to her care. They all treated her with dignity and concern and I will always be grateful for this kind compassionate care. When hospice became involved in the last few months, every hospice nurse who visited remarked that the care at Belmont was exemplary.

I’d give them all negatives if I could! What a scam this place is! Don’t let the price and the cosmetics of it fool you! My dad lived at Belmont Encino for a little over 2 years. He had a minor infection in his leg that was treated with NARCOTICS (rather than antibiotics) and nearly died from an overdose because of it. Had I not come in to visit that Sunday he would have died from an overdose, and no one would have done anything to save him! Instead it was finger pointing as to who’s to blame, rather than getting him immediate assistance!. After I called 911 due to him being unconscious (Belmont discouraged me to call and the nurses just stared at me, instead of doing something, ANYTHING) they had to administer Narcan to bring him back from an overdose! Once at the hospital we found out he was septic, had pneumonia and his kidneys were about to shut down! We thought they were caring for and protecting him at Belmont, but the truth is….He was left alone MOST OF THE DAY (we had to call daily and remind them to take him to the cafe for his meals). He lost over 55 lbs in less than 2 years), he deteriorated physically and emotionally due to extreme negligence of the staff and Doctors. My dad had to be admitted to the hospital and fought for his life for 10 days because Belmont simply did not care! He is now in amazing HOME with even better care (the patient to staff ratio is 2:1). Because of Belmonts EXTREME negligence we don’t know if he will ever recover from this ordeal, but I’m grateful I got there when I did so that I and the paramedics were able to save his life. PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY! The facility that my dad is at now has 3 other patients that were also transferred from Belmont Encino with in the same week due to there horrific experience with Belmont staff and doctors as well. If that doesn’t tell you something I don’t know what will. Belmont cares about your money and that’s all!

Best place we found for our Aunt. She seams to love the salon and the different activities. She said every one is smiling and the meals are delicious in the restaurant. We think she will be happy here.
