Butternut Hill far exceeded our expectations. My father previously received in home 24/7 service and, when he no longer could walk, we needed to move him to Butternut Hill. We thought he would receive acceptable care, and be safe. Instead, he received exceptional, compassionate care from Gabe and Sam, home cooked meals, and a warm, friendly family environment. The staff is receptive to family input and does its best to accommodate your requests. We are very grateful dad was in such a loving and caring environment. Highly recommend Butternut Hill!

It’s hard for me plot fully express my gratitude to the team at Butternut Hill. My dad went there on hospice. My mom was strongly against him going to an institution. When we found this wonderful group home, it was perfect. Like him passing in our living room but with wonderful care. It’s cozy and not at all I situational but the care is excellent. I really can’t say enough about it. Thank you Gabe and Sam and Laura and Luce!

Exceptionally compassionate staff, attention to details , welcoming space. My father received superior physical care , home cooked meals and kindness. I highly recommend Butternut Hill for memory care & assisted living over traditional nursing homes. Here my father received the love he deserved.

My praise and thanks for the tremendous care Gabe and everyone provided my mother and my entire family during her time at Butternut Hill. I visited almost daily and the house was always clean and usually smelled of home cooking. This was by far the best decision for my mother and family. Bless you all.

I don't usually write reviews but when something exceeds your expectations with something so important as taking care of your mom, it needs to be said. The first time I checked out Butternut Senior Living, I was impressed with the home itself, so lovely and clean with a peaceful, homey vibe. Much nicer than the usual large chaotic facilities that I've visited. The Caregivers there are genuine, competent and kind. Mom's not the easiest to please but after getting settled in and getting to know the people there, she reached a place of peaceful contentment. Gabe, who runs the place, really knows his stuff and keeps a watchful eye on everything and everyone's safety and well being. He reaches out to me with any concerns big or small regarding mom's health, always thinking about what's best for her. It's amazing to me that I actually found a place as wonderful as Butternut Senior Living to trust completely with mom's care. What a blessing it has been not to worry or be burned out anymore. I know in my heart that she is in good hands.

My experience with Gabriel and his staff was God send. There was so much love, professionalism, compassion and just loving care. My brother did a 90 degree turn once he entered Butternut Hill Senior Living Home after leaving Danto Health Facility in West Bloomfield for the past 3 years. I can’t thank you guys enough for his quality care.

My great aunt has lived at Butternut Hill for the past 3 years and I cannot even say what amazing care they took of her! Gabriel and all of his staff are kind, caring and very resourceful. My aunt was always happy there, treated kindly and was very clean and well taken care of. They welcome visitors at all times and make you feel like family. They kept us up to date with every change and every decision up to the very last day when my aunt passed away. I HIGHLY recommend them. When my mom is ready for assisted living in a few years, I know where she will be going! If you are looking for a good place for your loved one, give them a call. You wont be disappointed!

I couldn’t give Gabriel any higher praise unless I was a wordsmith. After my sister and I looked in vein for a place that could give my mom the increased care she needed and both ended up in tears we were given two options. Butternut Hill was the best decision we made for my moms care period.
