Sehr schönes Hotel

I'd rate the hotel 10 stars, based on the staff alone. I was forced to make an unplanned detour while on vacation in Florida, due to mandatory evacuations. I randomly chose Winter Haven as far enough inland for safety. The staff was so welcoming, very pleasant and professional. Based on how busy the hotel was while I was there, I am sure they experienced an influx of guests in my same situation, but handled the influx with grace and professionalism. ||Front Desk staff was there to answer my questions about the area - offering dining suggestions etc. Tishann, Ellie and the younger gentleman (whose name I can't recall) in particular were particularly gracious. The staff at the Bistro were very nice. Housekeeping were among the most pleasant I have encountered in my travels, always saying hi with a smile as you walk by. ||The hotel grounds and room were very clean. The Bistro served coffee, good breakfast and dinner food in an inviting environment.||There is a small pool which overlooks a man-made lake. I did not get a chance to use this due to the weather.||Location is very convenient to a number of restaurants, shopping and a Publix. ||I may never get back to Winter Haven, but if I do, this will be my choice of where to stay.||Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the lake!

Have stayed in many Marriott hotels since getting my Bonvoy card and this is the best! Really appreciated the check-in person, Luke, who made the wifi upgrade happen seamlessly. This hotel is a level or two up. Had a lake view room and it was beautiful. Fitness Room is a step up from most.

We had a room block here for our wedding weekend - we stayed Wednesday 10/09 - Saturday 10/12 which was also the week Hurricane Milton passed through Florida. We were blown away by the service provided by all the staff while we were here during the hurricane and during our wedding weekend once the hurricane passed. The rooms were clean & beautifully done. The restaurant in the lobby was great - especially the night of the hurricane as we were able to still have hot food & drink. Everyone we spoke to was friendly & accommodating - front desk, restaurant personnel, housekeeping, & Desiree who coordinated our wedding block. We couldn't be happier with our stay here & all of their help with the stress of hosting a wedding in the area immediately following a major hurricane! Thank you so much!!

Great location and clean hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room's TV didn't work and had a weird layout, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Snacks in the lobby are very expensive, but sadly, that's the normal now.

This place is the BEST! We stayed during Hurricane Milton. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel safe, were efficient and friendly, and worked their tails off to accommodate the influx of guests! Rooms were clean and food was good! I highly recommend!!!

We were SO happy with our experience in this hotel!! It’s extremely clean and has a wonderful team of staff! They were very helpful, patient, and accommodating to our group who stayed there this past weekend. We really appreciate all you did for us!
Great rooms with comfy beds and nice bathroom setup! Fun bar/dining area. Highly recommend! Also thank you to the lovely staff member who recommended we try Lucille’s breakfast restaurant- you were spot on 🙂

Solid Courtyard location next to Legoland. The rooms are clean and quiet. The little bar/restaurant is handy for a drink, snack, coffee, or a bit more. But there are also some decent chain restaurant options nearby.
