My mother passed away December 6th in her home alone we sent the police over for a wellness check once the police were let in, while they were reviewing her body there were people in the home stealing items the manager was there the whole time. We then started getting calls from her about my mother's cat sounding distressed can someone needed to come and get the cats before we can even come and get the cats she had left the maintenance man in the home so on Sunday December 10th my sister and I went to the apartment to retrieve the cat when we got in the home it was Ram Shack items were missing jewelry was missing which statements were missing as well so I left a note on the door advising no one to enter in the apartment without a 48-hour notice per the terms and lease agreement I then got a call this morning from a Chyla Howard property manager asking about the letter she was very rude and disrespectful said that the maintenance man only moved one chair trying to get the cat then said we had seven days to get our mother's things out of the home then hung up on me. My mother had paid her rent for the full month of December and if this is supposed to be a Christian facility then they definitely have the devil working for them. If they did this to my mother I can only imagine what they do to other tenants that pass away. I feel she knew that the maintenance man and herself were up to no good and I called her out on it and advise her that I have cameras in the home now and now she's feeling some type of way she is unprofessional very disrespectful and show no empathy or sympathy anything of that nature I pray nothing like this happens to her mother. We may not be able to retrieve the But please understand karma is real and God will deal with her anyone else that took items out the home accordingly. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as I have reached out corporate to send a message to the regional manager over that property because she does not need to be in a facility working a realtor shame on you
