Attended a lovely event here, hosted by the Coalition of 100 Black Women, and put on specifically for the local community. I love it that this center sees value in facilitating events that focus on community wellness, especially for our senior neighbors. Parking was convenient, although you may have to find parking on the street if it is a large event and you're not there early enough to find a spot in the parking lot.

Rogers Park is the location for the Senior Food Bank in Inglewood, Ca. They provide food products for seniors the 4th Tuesday of every month. The food box contains food items such as milk, cheese, juice and a variety of can goods. What a wonderful program that feeds and helps so many of our seniors. If you are 60 or older, please stop by. All you need is a picture ID. They will be glad to see you and make sure you have food for your healthy dietary needs. Way to go Mayor James Butts for taking care of the people that had a hand in making this country great.
