My Mom has been living at Westerville Senior Living since Aug 2023. She moved in to assisted living and now Memory care.

I can't say enough about the employees, from Becca at the front desk, to Kala the memory aid to Emily the memory nurse to the director Stoey. There are sooo many employees that are amazing these are just a few names. The care they give to the residents is exceptional and show them LOVE. They make mom and other residents feel important. They really care.

Not to say we have accounted a problem, and when we did. They took my hand, and we figured it out together. I have never felt unheard.
When we placed mom, I have experience in health care. We looked at least 10 places. I walked in and knew she was home.
I can't recommend Westerville Senior Living Enough!!!!

I have a loved one at this facility, and I have heard and seen things that bring me great concern. I heard Stoey Stout share personal private medical information about a resident to another resident. On another occasion I heard him share personal private information about another employee to residents at this facility. He shared with my loved one at this facility, personal private information about the activities director. And lastly, I have also observed him getting aggressive towards employees when they do NOT agree with him. Please beware of this facility.

The local staff is great however corporate (Spectrum Retirement Communities) is a joke. They micro-manage the local staff so it takes forever to get anything done if it does get done. If you attempt to call or email the corporate staff, you don't get a response.
Attached are pictures of the carpets in the hallways; would you want your loved one living with this? The first picture is a stain that's been outside my door since I moved into this apartment in February.

If I could give WSL zero stars, I would. Do not place your loved one in this facility! They are not licensed for long term care even though the advertise Memory Care. The Director, Bobby, is honestly awful to deal with. They can't maintain a staff to save themselves. If you complain in a way that Bobby doesn't appreciate, you will be threatened with not being able to visit your loved one. They encourage their staff to write reports on family members they decide are difficult.

You will have to manage your loved ones care as they do not do a good job. At one point they admitted they had not had my Grandmother on a bathroom schedule so she was left to sit in soiled Depends for hours.

There are multiple people moving their loved ones to other facilitie due to the lack or care and Bobby's flippant attitude towards their care.

There are other place in the area that are far better equipped to care for your loved one the way they deserve.

DO NOT GIVE WESTERVILLE SENIOR LIVING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LOVED ONE!

The entire staff at Westerville Senior Living is simply amazing. They have made us feel so welcomed from our first visit and tour of the facility. The friendliness and professionalism they have exhibited during the move in process goes above and beyond. Thank you specifically to Hannah and Eldina on the sales team. You are appreciated for your patience in answering all of our many questions. This is truly a wonderful place to call home.

WSL has done a fantastic job managing the COVID epidemic. They put the resident’s safety first while doing everything they can to maintain morale and activities. The staff cares and their containment results are the proof. My mother is happy there and the family is too!
